The CorinthianTres Corone 2.5 inch chessmen are hand carved from three graded exotic hard woods – red sandalwood, ebony and boxwood. Three chess piece combinations are offered – ebony and boxwood, red sandalwood and boxwood, or even sandalwood and ebony. These chessmen have come from the one of world’s finest creators of luxury chess pieces and have been made to exacting standards. Identical to their larger brothers in the series, the detailing is simply staggering for chessmen of such minuscule proportions – something that can be truly appreciated from our product photographs. In particular, the detail of the bridled knight figure is phenomenal, as is its consistency for a hand carved item. The Italian made high gloss briarwood burl and elmwood board presents the perfect platform to accommodate such special chessmen. An ideal choice if space is an issue but quality compromise is not!
