Easter Series Golden Rosewood Carved Chessmen

Beautifully crafted pieces in golden rosewood. Distinctive bulbous bodies. Outstanding finish. Weighted and felted. 3.25″ 83 mm) king. Perfect for an 18″ (45 cm) board. A later addition to the Regency Chess Ornate Collection is this set of Easter Chessmen, hand carved from Golden Rosewood and Boxwood. The reason we chose these pieces came down to a number of things although, primarily, it was the aesthetic look and practicality of the Easter Chessmen that caught our eye. There is a mix of simplicity, characterized by a bulbous, unique bishop, and fine detail, as seen with the astonishing knights, that make these pieces a complete rarity. The craftsmen who make these pieces use high quality wood and polish each one individually, creating an outstanding finish. The king stands at 3.25 inches (83 mm) and has a base diameter of 1.5 inches (38 mm), which means a board of 18 inches (45 cm) or larger is best suited to the Easter Series Chessmen.
