Sicilian Rosewood and Walnut Chess Set

Elegantly carved from rosewood. Classic Staunton design. 3.75 inch (95 mm) king. Weighted for perfect balance. Bases covered with billiard cloth. Beautifully finished 19.7 inch (50 cm) walnut and maple board. The Sicilian Series chessmen are a superb rendering of the classic Staunton design of chess piece. They have been elegantly carved by one of the world’s finest wooden chess piece makers from quality Indian rosewood and boxwood and they are double weighted. The quality of detail and finish is simply outstanding on these pieces. The consistency of the carvings, uniformity of size and the matching of the wood tones is all first class, and we honestly believe you will not find better chess pieces at this price. We have combined these luxurious chessmen with our subtle, but beautifully finished walnut and maple chess board.
