The kings in this set are an intimidating dragon looking down from a fiery pedestal with his wings spread and large sword in his grasp. The queens too are dragons reading an old book. The bishops are warlock type characters protecting their crystal balls whilst the rooks are smaller dragons but just as intimidating as the king. The pawns are wizards bearing a skull, but it is the knights in this set that are the most noteworthy, naturally portrayed as mystical unicorns.
