The Royal Game of Ur is a two player strategy game that originated thousands of years ago back in ancient Mesopotamia. It’s classed as a two player strategy race board game. In the 1920s it was re discovered during an excavation at the Royal Cemetery of Ur, hence it’s current name. Other versions of the game have been discovered in buried ruins in the Middle East. This version has been lovingly crafted in Spain by a company called Pico Pau. They are a long established producer of exquisite and high quality traditional games.
